According to a recent study of typeface preferences, Arial emerged as the number one typeface among U.S. graphic designers by a margin of 11%. Number two: Papyrus. And if this information makes you uncomfortable there are two things you should know.
1.) Andrew Dyer will moderate our 6th No™ Meetup around the topic of what makes a font good/bad. Are certain fonts objectively bad, or is it all a matter of perception? What determines the goodness or badness of a font? Is it the font itself, or the way it’s been handled over time? Can a bad font be redeemed? Can good fonts be ruined?
2.) Relax. No such study exists. And if it did, everyone already knows New Lobster would top the list.
